¿Por qué decidiste ser maestra?
Yo diría que fue como un regalo del destino. Si puedo hacer un recuento hacia el pasado, diría que desde que estaba más joven quería ser educadora o veterinaria. Cuando llego a la preparatoria, descubrí la Escuela de Bellas Artes, estando pues en la preparatoria hago un poco de investigación sobre ello y pues entro a la licenciatura de Artes visuales y pues, bueno, parte de este proceso nos pedía hacer un servicio social y me encuentro con el Museo de la Ciudad, ahí empecé a hacer como mis primeros pininos, ahí empecé como asistente y luego ya fui tallerista, entonces encontré una emoción muy grande al tener que preparar todo el previo con los libros y los materiales para cada fin de semana, descubrir que los niños se interesaban muchísimo en descubrir nuevas palabras con ayuda de la lectura y la pintura porque así trabajábamos esta parte del descubrir su imaginación y la creatividad. Entonces fue así como yo considero que ha sido parte del destino llegar a este punto.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de dar clases?
Saber que se puede sembrar la semilla de la creatividad y de la imaginación en los niños. Y bueno, en esta parte del trabajo, con los más grandes, con los adolescentes, me encanta ver cómo se emocionan, cómo se sienten y al seguir de las clases comienzan a tener seguridad y ellos mismos se dan cuenta que pueden hacer grandes cosas y se emocionan, y esa emoción creo que me la contagian y ha formado parte de esa motivación para seguir adelante.
Lo que más me gusta de trabajar en el Kennedy es que hay un ambiente de confianza, de familiaridad. También respetan mucho tu trabajo y te dan toda esa confianza de que tú puedes explorar y hacer y proponer cosas. Creo que es lo que más me gusta.

Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I would say it was like a gift of fate. If I can look back, I would say that ever since I was younger I wanted to be an educator or a veterinarian. When I got to High School, I discovered the School of Fine Arts, while in High School I did a little research on it and then I entered the Visual Arts degree and well, part of this process asked us to do a social service and I came across the Museo de la Ciudad, there I began to do my first practices, there I started as an assistant and then I was a workshop facilitator, so I found a great emotion when having to prepare all the previous with the books and materials for each purpose during the week, discovering that the children were very interested in discovering new words with the help of reading and painting because that's how we worked on this part of discovering their imagination and creativity. So that was how I consider that it has been part of destiny to reach this point.
What do you like most about teaching?
Knowing that you can sow the seeds of creativity and imagination in children. And well, in this part of the job, with the older ones, with the teenagers, I love to see how they get excited, how they feel, and by continuing the classes they begin to have confidence and they themselves realize that they can do great things and they get excited, and I think that emotion is contagious to me and it has been part of that motivation to keep going.
What I like most about working at Kennedy is that there is an atmosphere of trust, of familiarity. They also respect your work a lot and give you all that confidence that you can explore and do and propose things. I think that is what I like the most.
